Pre-teen Therapy
(Ages 10-12)
Tammie has dedicated her life to serving children and their families. With 20 years of teaching experience and extensive training in child development, she provides developmentally appropriate therapy for children experiencing:
-
Problematic behavior
-
Anxiety
-
Trauma
-
Grief

School-related challenges
-
Attention or relational difficulties
Sessions may include drawing, games, toys, puppets, or other child-centered methods to help children express themselves authentically. Tammie partners with parents, teachers, and caregivers when needed to ensure full support for each child.
Adolescent Therapy
(Age 13+)
Teenagers today face enormous pressures at home, school, socially, and internally. Tammie works with adolescents who are experiencing stress, anxiety, depression, trauma, self-harm behaviors, identity challenges, or problematic patterns.
Adolescent Therapy:
-
Supports teens with anxiety, stress, depression, trauma, and behavioral challenges
-
Provides a safe space for expression and emotional development
-
Builds coping skills, confidence, and healthy independence
-
Addresses school, peer, and family-related pressures
-
Includes family involvement when helpful
When appropriate, adolescent therapy may include family sessions to address communication, dynamics, and support. Therapy empowers teens to build resilience, independence, emotional regulation, and healthier relationships.
Family
Therapy
Family therapy is not defined by who is in the room—it is defined by how we understand one another within the context of our relationships. Tammie views each family as its own unique system with distinct communication patterns and structures.
Family therapy:
-
Helps reveal relational patterns rather than placing blame on one individual
-
Strengthens communication
-
Supports family adjustment during life changes
-
Works alongside individual therapy when needed
Even one shift in a family system can create meaningful change for everyone.
Couples Therapy
(EFT-Based)
Relationships are deeply meaningful—but they are also deeply vulnerable. Tammie uses Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) to help couples identify negative cycles, understand raw emotional spots, and rebuild connection.
She works with:
-
Premarital couples
-
Couples seeking general improvement
-
Couples in crisis
-
Couples facing stressors such as intimacy issues, finances, addiction, health challenges, or life transitions
Healing begins when couples understand their emotional patterns and learn how to reach for each other more safely and effectively.
EMDR
Therapy
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a powerful, research-supported therapy for healing trauma. Tammie helps clients access and reprocess traumatic experiences so they have less emotional impact over time.
EMDR Includes:
-
Evidence-based therapy for trauma and PTSD symptoms
-
Reduces the emotional impact of painful memories
-
Helps reprocess trauma in a safe, guided way
-
Supports relief from triggers, anxiety, and negative beliefs
-
Provided by an EMDR Level 1 & 2 trained clinician
EMDR is especially helpful for individuals experiencing symptoms of PTSD or trauma-related distress.
